Located in the heart of the Amish country in Southeastern Pennsylvania, Timberlake Horse Haven rescues horses that have been abandoned, and mistreated. We specialize in ex thoroughbred race horses.

We are a non-profit organization exempt from federal income tax under section 501 (C)(3) of the internal Revenue Code. All Contributions to THH over 25 dollars are a tax deduction under 170 of the Internal Revenue Code and are greatly appreciated by all of our horses.

Our mission is to rescue horses that are being neglected, abused, and bound for slaughter, giving them a second chance at a new life. Over a hundred thousand horses a year are slaughtered due to the fact that their racing career is over and their purpose in life is finished. Our goal is to match horses with owners that will continue to retrain and work with their needs, provide the care and skills necessary to reestablish them back into a lively and fulfilling life. T.H.H was founded in 2000 and is a nonprofit 501(C)(3) Thoroughbred Race Horse Rescue and adoption program.
